Can an offer be cancelled?
Yes — you can unpublish any offer at any time from the merchant console. Once unpublished, no new customers can claim vouchers for that offer. Already-claimed vouchers remain valid until their expiry date.
What happens to already-claimed vouchers?
They remain in customer wallets and can still be redeemed at your location until expiry. Customers can also return unused vouchers voluntarily — the credit is restored to their account.
How does staff redemption work?
When a customer arrives, they show either a QR code or a short alphanumeric voucher code on their phone. Your staff opens the merchant console, taps Redeem, and either scans the QR code with the device camera or types the code manually. The voucher is marked as used immediately.
No special hardware is needed — any phone, tablet, or computer with a browser works.
What does the customer pay?
Customers pay your business directly at the deal price shown on the offer. YEX does not collect payment from customers on your behalf — the transaction happens at your register, just like any other visit.
How quickly are payments processed?
Since customers pay you directly at the point of sale, there's no settlement delay. Redemption revenue is tracked in real-time in your merchant dashboard so you always know how your offers are performing.

Can I set a limit on vouchers?
Yes — when creating an offer you set both the total quantity (how many vouchers exist for that offer) and a per-customer limit (how many one person can claim). This keeps demand controlled and prevents a single customer from hoarding vouchers.
