1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the YEX platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. YEX reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Deals & Vouchers

YEX is a marketplace connecting local businesses ("Merchants") with customers. Merchants publish deals; customers claim vouchers for those deals. A voucher represents a commitment by the Merchant to honor the stated offer when you visit in person. YEX does not provide the goods or services described in any deal — the Merchant does.

Vouchers are subject to availability, expiration dates, and any terms specified by the Merchant. YEX does not guarantee that any particular deal will remain available.

4. Payments & Pass Plans

Your pass plan limits how many unredeemed vouchers you can hold at once, freeing a slot each time one is redeemed — it does not affect what you pay. You pay the deal price once the Merchant confirms your visit. YEX does not process payment between you and the Merchant for the underlying goods or services.

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. All fees are stated in US dollars unless otherwise noted.

5. Cancellations

YEX never charges your card -- you pay the business directly, in person, only when you redeem a voucher, so there's no YEX charge to cancel or refund. Unclaimed vouchers may be returned from your wallet at any time before they expire to free their slot. Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed. See ourFAQ for how voucher slots and disputes work.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Submit false reviews or manipulate the review system.
• Attempt to claim deals through automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.).
• Resell, transfer, or share vouchers unless explicitly permitted.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

7. Intellectual Property

The YEX name, logo, and all related marks, designs, and content are the property of YEX or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any YEX intellectual property without prior written consent. User-submitted content (such as reviews) remains your property, but you grant YEX a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute it on the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

YEX provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that deals will meet your expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, YEX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

YEX's total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to YEX in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
