Merchant Terms

Last updated: September 2026

These terms apply to businesses that subscribe to YEX to publish deals ("Merchants"). They sit alongside our Terms of Service, which apply to everyone. Where the two differ on billing, these Merchant Terms apply to you.

1. Your subscription

The price is the one shown on the pricing page when you subscribe, in US dollars. Plan features and limits are those shown for your plan on the pricing page.

If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you before the new price applies to you.

2. Billing and renewals

Your subscription is billed monthly, in advance, through Stripe, to the card you enter at checkout. It renews automatically each month until you cancel.

You can see your plan, price, payment method, invoices and next billing date at any time on the Plan & billing page of the merchant console. What it shows comes from our billing records, not from your browser.

3. Changing plans

You can change plan at any time from Plan & billing. The change takes effect immediately, and the difference is prorated on your next invoice.

4. Additional locations

The Standard and Growth plans include one location. The Operator plan includes one location and lets you add more: each additional location is charged monthly at the price shown on the pricing page, is added to your subscription when you create the location, and is prorated for the current billing period. To have more locations on Standard or Growth, upgrade to Operator.

5. Failed payments

If a payment fails, we ask you to update your card. While your subscription is not active you cannot publish new offers, and your offers may stop being available to claim. Vouchers customers have already claimed stay valid, and you must still honor them.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing (Manage billing). Your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and after that your offers stop being available to claim. Vouchers customers have already claimed stay valid, and you must still honor them.

7. Refunds

Subscription fees are not refundable, including for a partly used billing period, except where the law requires it or we have made a billing error.

8. Promotions

The Founding Merchant Program is by invitation from YEX, for a limited number of businesses in Tampa Bay. If YEX grants your business a place before you subscribe, your first months are free, followed by months at a discount, and then the standard price, as described on the pricing page. You add a card at checkout, and after the promotional months the standard price is charged to that card automatically. The offer starts at checkout and cannot be added to a subscription you already have.

Promotions are described on the pricing page. A promotion applies only to what it says it applies to, and only from when it starts.

9. Customers and vouchers

YEX does not collect the deal price from customers on your behalf. The customer pays you directly, in person, when they redeem.

Once you have claimed a voucher, the Merchant cannot cancel it. If a Merchant unpublishes or ends a deal, no new vouchers can be claimed, but vouchers already claimed remain valid until they expire. A claimed voucher ends only when it is redeemed, when it expires, when you return it, or when YEX cancels it (for example, after a dispute); if YEX cancels a voucher, we will notify you.
