Merchant walkthrough
From publishing your first offer to tracking repeat visits, here's the full merchant experience.
Open the merchant console and tap New Offer. Set a title (e.g. "Tuesday Lunch Special"), choose the original and deal price, pick your category, set the total quantity of vouchers, and define the valid days and hours. Hit Publish and your offer goes live to nearby customers instantly.
The merchant console shows your draft, active, and expired offers in one view. Edit or unpublish anytime.
Your offer appears on the YEX Deals search page filtered by city and category. Customers see your business name, the deal price, savings percentage, and remaining vouchers. When they tapClaim, a voucher is reserved in their digital wallet — no payment to YEX at this stage.
Customers browse by category, keyword, or location. Your offer reaches people already looking for a deal nearby.
When the customer arrives, they show their voucher — either a QR code on their phone or a short alphanumeric code. Your staff opens the merchant console, taps Redeem, and scans or types the code. The voucher is marked as used in real-time.
Redemption takes under 10 seconds. No special hardware needed — any phone or tablet with a browser works.
Your merchant dashboard shows redemption counts, revenue driven, new vs. repeat customers, and offer performance over time. See which days and offers bring the most visits, then refine your strategy with data — not guesses.
